Make It Fun

There are situations in which gravity and a placid demeanor are critical. Think: Funerals, the bedside manner of an oncologist, or even a manager or HR professional implementing a workforce reduction.

And then there are the other 99% of the situations one finds oneself in, both personally and professionally. Sometimes, workers (you, I, the people we are responsible for) avoid tasks that we know are good to do because we associate them with effort rather than fun.

That's the wrong attitude. And if we perpetuate that view, we're undermining an opportunity to get important stuff done. This video illustrates the point. Find the fun in the harder work, and it become more appealing than the easy stuff.
